Let us guide you along the thick “caruggi” (little lanes) of the widest medieval historical centre in Europe, looking for its manifold curiosities, its various misteries and secrets and admiring its architectural beauties, representend by the Palazzi Rolli, included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO. Browse around inside the numerous ultra centenarian shops and boutiques of the old town, together with our expert guides ..... Let us guide you discovering the first urban settlement of the city (Castrum) dating back to the Romans and Etrurians’ age. Wander along the lanes of the “rive gauche”, the very old part of the city, cut in two by Via S. Lorenzo (the magnificent lane which takes you to the cathedral).

Saturdays, h. 10.00 a.m.: guided tour Italian and English language
Saturdays, h. 14.30 p.m.: guided tour Italian and Spanish language
Sundays, h 10.00 a.m.: guided tour Italian and French language
Sundays, h 10.00 a.m.: guided tour Italian and German language

Starting points of all guided tours: Porto Antico area.

Full price: € 12,00
Children up to 12 years: free
Young people 12/18 anni, over 65, groups 10-25 people: € 10,00
Press: € 8,00
Groups with more than 25 people: please contact our offices. (the ticket includes also the visit to the Museums of Strada Nuova; cost of the museums tickets would be 8€).

Tickets are sold at the Visitor Centre in Via Garibaldi (tel. 0105572903/751) and at the IAT tourist offices in piazza De Ferrari (Carlo Felice Theatre Largo Pertini 13, ph. +39 0108606122), at the Airport (arrival hall, ph. +39 0106015247) and also at the starting point, directly asking the guide.

Saturdays, h. 11.00 a.m. and h. 16.00 p.m.: guided tour, Italian language

“Old Port and Castrum” timetable of the visits:
Sundays and holidays, h. 11.00 a.m.: guided tour, Italian language

Starting points of all guided tours: Porto Antico area.
Ticket price: 10€. Tickets are sold online on the website www.incomingliguria.it and at the booking office of Incoming Liguria (ph. +39 0102345666). Latecomers could buy the tickets also at the starting point, directly asking guide.

The narrative Genoese tours of Itinera are thematic guided walks in the historical city centre. City Sightseeing Genova
Red coloured open-top double-deckers bus service, managed by an audio digital multilangual system in 6 different languages.
8 bus stops: Piazza Fontane Marose, Piazza De Ferrari, Via Diaz (Piazza della Vittoria), Piazza G.Verdi (Brignole railway station), Via XX Settembre, Via Balbi (Principe railway station), Ponte dei Mille (cruise terminal).
Timetable: first journey 9.30 a.m. - starting point Piazza Caricamento, last journey at 17.10 p.m. from Stazione Marittima
Frequency of buses: every 60 minutes (except for the one of 13.30 p.m. which is not scheduled).
Fares: adults € 15,00, children (5-15 years old) € 7.50, integrated ticked with GenovaPass € 16,00.

“Pippo” Train City Tour
From April to October: Monday trough Friday (except Wednesdays) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ; departures every hour for a 40 minutes tour with Italian voice guide. Brief french comments are available from the train engineer when requested.
Tours with comments in german or french are available upon reservation (the system doesn’t support more than one language at the time yet)
From November to March, only Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the service is suspended in case of bad weather conditions and on Christmas day)
Weekdays only groups upon reservation

Fares: Adults € 6,50 Children (5 to 12 years old) € 3,50 Free of charge for children till the age of 4.
